We are a team of six JAMK students brought together by our common interest in the future factory course. As a diverse team of students with skills in computer science, engineering, and design, we strive to make a positive impact through our projects and continuously learn and grow. Skill Collector 1.0
The purpose of our project is to ascertain which SFIA skills are important to companies which are looking to hire university graduates. To achieve this, we have created a questionnaire which companies can use to choose the skills which they deem significant. We then collect and publish the results from these questionnaires on our website, so that students may prepare themselves for working life and find appropriate jobs. This project also has applications in the field of education, as it can aid schools in developing their teaching to suit the needs of working in the real world.
