Description

In 2018, the European Union implemented the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), a set of privacy regulations that apply to any website or app that processes the personal data of EU residents. The GDPR requires businesses and organizations to provide users with transparent information about how their data is being collected, used, and protected.

To comply with the GDPR, many websites and apps create a dedicated GDPR-info page, where they can provide users with clear and concise information about their data privacy policies. This page typically includes details such as what types of data are being collected, how that data is being used, who it's being shared with (if anyone), and how users can control their data preferences.

By providing a GDPR-info page, websites and apps can demonstrate their commitment to data privacy and compliance with EU regulations. This can help to build trust with users and improve their overall experience on the site. Additionally, failure to comply with the GDPR can result in significant fines, so having a GDPR-info page is an important step in avoiding legal liability.
